Our
herd exemplifies generations of selective linebreeding to the
incomparable Priboj
through his sons Pietuszok
and full brother Topol.
This sire line is undoubtedly the most significant ever to
emerge from the Tersk Stud in Russia. Unchallenged now for almost a
century, Pribojis the
single most influential sire of racing champions in the Arabian
breed. We have also infused blood from the very important Naseem sireline into
our horses through the use of the Salon
son Pistaschio.
The Naseem
and Priboj
sirelines were of equal importance to the impressive results of the
Tersk breeding program, and those results are evident here in our
horses.
Until
the mid 1970's little was known about the Tersk
Stud which was at that time 40 plus years into a
phenomenally successful breeding program. The foundation
stock of Tersk which came from Hungry, France, England, Poland and
Egypt was systematically used over time to produce better horses with
each generation. The Tersk Arabians average 15.2 hands in
height, possess exceptional confirmation, and a classic often exotic
appearance. The legacy of Priboj
is that of a superior equine athlete ideal conformation, abundant
substance and strength, form to function, enduring stamina and
incredibly versatile athletic prowess. This legacy is proudly
